About Us
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is the supreme anti-corruption organization in Pakistan. It aims to remove corruption and corrupt practices through a holistic awareness, prevention, and enforcement approach. Established in 1999 under the National Accountability Ordinance that ensures transparency and accountability in public as well as private spheres, it tirelessly pursues recovery of ill-gotten gains such as assets or money by investigating financial mismanagement, embezzlement, cases, etc., prosecuting abuse of authority, among others. NAB safeguards rule of law while promoting socio-economic development within Pakistan through fostering honesty and moral conduct.
