Ministry of Science and Technology Jobs 2024 – Cabinet-level Ministry of the Government of Pakistan

New opportunities have been provided by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Pakistan, operating according to the Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR). Ministry of Science and Technology Jobs 2024 are announced under the project of Gene Editing of Biological Agents for Nutritional, Biochemical, and Therapeutic Purposes (PSDP project) contractual terms of One year (extendable). These vacancies will not be converted into permanent positions, a detailed description is listed below

1. Research Officers (PPS-7)

   • Number of Positions: 01
   • Qualification: Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Metabolic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, etc
   • Experience: CRISPR/Cas system, handling automated fermenters.

2. Research Associate (PPS-6)

   • Number of Positions: 01
   • Qualification: MS in Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, Metabolic Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.
   • Experience: CRISPR/Cas system, handling automated fermenters.

3. Admin Officer (PPS-7)

   • Number of Positions: 01
   • Qualification: M.Sc./MA (Economics) (16 years of education).
   • Experience: 5 years in office administration, accounts, or human resource management, preferably in public sector or PSDP projects.

4. Lab Technicians (PPS-5)

   • Number of Positions: 02
   • Qualification: B.Sc. or equivalent (14 years of education).
   • Experience: 2-3 years in an R&D organization or public sector.

5. Office Assistants (PPS-5)

   • Number of Positions: 01
   • Qualification: B.A./B.Com or equivalent (14 years of education).
   • Experience: 2-3 years in an R&D organization or public sector (PSDP projects preferred).
