Applicants with a domicile from Sindh, particularly Thatta, Sujawal, and Jamshoro, are encouraged to apply for various contract-based positions in a marine research project titled:

“Establishment of Oceanographic Survey Unit: Climate Change, Freshwater Scarcity, and Pollution Impact Assessment on Geomorphology, Mangrove, Fisheries, and Wildlife Occurring in Coastal and Marine Waters of District Thatta.”
This project is funded by the Petroleum Marine Development Committee (PMDC), Thatta.

| Geologist/Oceanographer Expert | 1 | M.Phil/Ph.D. in Geology | Study sediment characterization, groundwater sea intrusion, coastal erosion, and land degradation. |
| Mangrove Specialist | 1 | M.Phil/Ph.D. in Freshwater Biology, Fisheries, Marine Biology, or Botany with specialization in mangroves | Research mangrove conservation, identify mudflats for plantation, and prepare a mangrove cultivation manual. |
| Coastal GIS & Environment Expert | 1 | M.Phil/Ph.D. in Agriculture Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or Geology | Research aquatic environments, climate change, GIS modeling, and remote sensing with disaster risk reduction perspectives. |
| Research Fellow (Enrolled in M.Phil/Ph.D.) | 4 | BS (First Class) in Freshwater Biology, Fisheries, or Marine Science | Conduct biodiversity research on marine fisheries, mammals, turtles, coral diversity, water quality, and climate change impacts. |
