Contract-Based Positions – Gwadar Safe City Project (GSCP), Government of Balochistan

Balochistan’s Planning & Development Department is leading the Gwadar Safe City Project (GSCP), a significant security infrastructure project. The Project Management Unit (PMU) is seeking individuals with relevant qualifications to apply for technical and administrative positions on definite contracts, in order to ensure its successful completion.

These positions are designed to help Gwadar implement state-of-the-art surveillance systems, integrate ICT and create safe command and control networks. Applications are being accepted from all over Balochistan, and candidates will be selected solely based on their qualifications. All positions have a two-year contract that can be extended in accordance with project requirements and performance.

🧑‍💼 Key Role Requirements

🔌 Electrical Engineer (PPS-07)

• Education: BE (Electrical/Electronic) from a PEC-recognized institute
• Experience: At least 2 years in power systems, structured cabling, or related domains
• Preferred Expertise: Smart city solutions, UPS systems, CCTV installation

📡 Radio Communication Engineer (PPS-07)

• Education: BE in Telecom or Electrical (Electronics)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in RF/wireless systems, IP radios, or control rooms
• Preferred: Familiarity with public safety communication protocols

🧰 Technical Supervisor (PPS-06)

• Education: DAE (Electrical/Telecom/IT)
• Experience: 3 years in technical team leadership or equipment supervision
• Skills: Hands-on maintenance, diagnostic tools, equipment calibration

🌐 Network Technician (PPS-05)

• Education: DAE (IT/Networking)
• Experience: 2 years of practical work in LAN/WAN setup, router/firewall handling
• Certifications: CCNA preferred

⚙️ Generator Operator (PPS-04)

• Education: Matric with technical course
• Experience: 2 years with diesel generators and backup power systems
• Skills: Load balancing, maintenance logs, fuel handling

🖇 Office Assistant (PPS-04)

• Education: Intermediate or equivalent
• Skills: Typing, record maintenance, basic computer use (MS Word/Excel)

🚗 Driver (PPS-02)

• Education: Primary Pass with valid LTV/HTV license
• Experience: 3 years
• Note: Must be medically fit and aware of basic vehicle upkeep

🧹 Naib Qasid (PPS-01)

• Education: Literate
• Responsibilities: Office support, file movement, general cleaning and errands
