About Us
ECC&CDD leads the Government of Sindh’s work on environmental quality management, climate policy, and coastal development. The Department houses policy functions and coordinates with the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) and other line departments to enforce standards, build capacity, and channel climate investments. The Directorate of Climate Change & Carbon Finance is being strengthened to:
Develop carbon-finance ready programs;
Establish and maintain a credible registry;
Create market linkages for Sindh’s public and private sector; and
Ensure compliance with national frameworks while adopting internationally accepted safeguards.
