About Us
Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) are the main defence production complex in Pakistan and act as the basis of the country’s military manufacturing capacity. It was created in 1951 with its headquarters in Wah Cantt and operated by the Ministry of Defence Production. POF has gained a reputation due to its wide array of items, including small arms, ammunition, explosives, and military-grade equipment aimed at self-sufficiency in defence for Pakistan. POF does not just satisfy the needs of armed forces within Pakistan but also ships its products to different parts of world, which greatly contributes towards the national economy as well as the defence industry while ensuring excellence is maintained throughout this process through continuous improvement programs based on innovation and creativity.
