About Us
The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) is an initiative for the future to develop the areas around the River Ravi in Pakistan into a city. It was established with the objective of making modern, sustainable and liveable metropolitan settings through all-inclusive urban planning and development programs. The residential, commercial and recreational areas are covered by this plan which gives priority to environmental friendly features, state-of-the-art infrastructure and smart city technologies.
RUDA intends to achieve this by combining green spaces with efficient transport systems as well as coming up with innovative architectural designs which will not only improve people’s lives but also conserve their culture heritage sites within that locality without losing any part of it forever. This project is not only large-scale in nature but also very challenging given its scope vis-a-vis other cities around Pakistan; hence setting higher standards for future urban developments across the country.
