We are hiring 09 Bandmen (BS-05) for full-time government positions based in Muzaffarabad. Applicants must be domiciled in AJK or be children of AJK-domiciled citizens and possess the right blend of musical training and physical fitness. These roles are central to ceremonial duties at state functions, police events, national parades, and public commemorations.

🥁 About the Role: Bandman (BS-05)

As a Bandman in the AJK Police Brass Band, your duties go beyond music. You’ll be part of a unit that represents the identity, discipline, and dignity of the police force at public events and state ceremonies. You must be musically proficient in at least one classical band instrument, including:

🎼 Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Tuba, or Drums

Beyond your musical talent, you’ll be expected to meet strict physical standards, coordinate during marching performances, and maintain your instruments and uniform with pride. This role demands a blend of artistic skill, punctuality, discipline, and physical fitness.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Educational Requirements

• Matric (Secondary School Certificate) from a recognized board
• Music Certificate from a recognized institution

🎷 Instrument Proficiency

• Must be skilled in playing at least one of the following:
  • Flute
  • Clarinet
  • Trumpet
  • Trombone
  • Saxophone
  • Tuba
  • Drums

💪 Physical Standards

• Minimum Height: 5 feet 2 inches
• Chest: 32 inches (expandable to 34 inches)
• Age Limit: 18–40 years as of the application closing date
