Team Leader – Corporate & Investment Banking Group, Branch Manager, In-Charge Booth


Accomplished professionals in the field of banking are invited to join the growing network of Bank of Khyber in three key positions: Team Leader – Corporate & Investment Banking Group, Branch Manager and In-Charge Booth. All these posts are under the Area Manager of Corporate Banking and are located at Multan, Sialkot, Bajaur, Swat, Malakand and Peshawar. Applicants are required to have at least a bachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized institution (foreign qualification requires an equivalency certificate), with a master’s degree preferred for the Team Leader position. The tenure expectations are 10 years in corporate credit, seven years in branch management as well as five years in booth supervision. Applications are to be submitted no later than May 15, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria ✅

  • Academic Credentials:
    • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution.
    • Preferred (Team Leader): Master’s degree or equivalent.
    • Foreign degrees require an HEC equivalency certificate.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • Team Leader: 10 years in corporate credit at a commercial bank; Islamic banking exposure is a plus.
    • Branch Manager: 7 years in branch banking, including oversight of deposits, loans and compliance.
    • In-Charge Booth: 5 years managing booth-level operations, encompassing cash handling and small-ticket lending.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Must meet age and conduct criteria as per Bank of Khyber HR regulations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Team Leader – Corporate & Investment Banking Group

  1. Target Setting: Define quarterly and annual asset targets for relationship managers.
  2. Credit Assessment: Review credit applications; collaborate with risk, legal and compliance teams for approvals.
  3. Site Evaluations: Visit corporate clients’ project sites to verify feasibility and compliance.
  4. Portfolio Oversight: Track performance metrics; guide marketing activities to meet client needs.
  5. Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with major corporate accounts in the southern region.
  6. Reporting: Send regular updates on portfolio health to the Area Manager Corporate Banking.
  7. Special Assignments: Support senior management on ad-hoc banking initiatives.

Branch Manager

  • Operational Leadership: Supervise tellers, customer service officers and back-office staff.
  • Sales & Targets: Drive deposit and lending goals through coaching and incentive programs.
  • Compliance & Controls: Enforce AML policies, regulatory standards and internal audit findings.
  • Performance Analysis: Review monthly branch P&L; recommend process improvements and cross-sell strategies.
  • Customer Care: Address complex customer queries; ensure high service standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit branch performance dashboards to regional management.

In-Charge Booth

  1. Booth Management: Oversee daily cash operations, microfinance disbursements and deposit collection.
  2. Staff Training: Conduct on-site training on products, procedures and compliance requirements.
  3. Transaction Monitoring: Reconcile daily transactions and report discrepancies to the supervising branch.
  4. Outreach Programs: Lead community-level financial literacy and inclusion activities.
  5. Credit Screening: Follow established protocols for small loan assessments and approvals.
