EXIM Bank, Pakistan’s official export credit organisation, is looking for a Head of Compliance to manage its governance and regulatory risk operations in Islamabad. For this long-term leadership role, a seasoned professional with hands-on experience in compliance management, KYC, AML/CFT frameworks, and banking regulations—particularly those issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)—is preferred. The ideal candidate will have worked in the financial industry for at least 10 years, at least four of which will have been in a senior position in regulatory oversight or risk governance. A bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, or a related field is required of candidates; a master’s degree is advised.

🧭 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance framework aligned with SBP standards
• Lead policy creation across areas like KYC, AML, CFT, sanctions screening, and trade finance risk
• Coordinate with national regulators and ensure real-time alignment with local/global financial laws
• Build internal awareness programs, train departments on compliance risk, and conduct regular reviews
• Work closely with the executive leadership to advise on governance matters
• Represent EXIM Bank in meetings involving board members and external stakeholders
• Monitor legal, reputational, and regulatory risk and respond proactively
• Draft and maintain SOPs, policies, and procedures that evolve with changing regulatory landscapes
