Seasonal Contract Positions – Jhelum Canal Division (2025–2026 Term)
The Executive Engineer Office, Jhelum Canal Division, located in Jhelum, under the Irrigation Department Punjab, invites applications from physically fit and competent individuals for seasonal appointments during the canal closure maintenance period for 2025–2026. The work duration is 3 months, and selected candidates will assist with seasonal and technical field operations.
Available positions include Computer Operator, Regulation Baildar, Driver, Gauge Reader, Regulation Coolie, Mali, and Naib Qasid. These roles are offered on a temporary basis, and selection will be based strictly on merit, physical fitness, and relevant work experience.

Eligibility Criteria
✅ Candidate must be a resident of Punjab.
✅ Preference will be given to local candidates of Jhelum Canal Sub-Division.
✅ Only physically fit and experienced individuals will be considered.
✅ Age and physical condition will be assessed during the selection process.
✅ Government rules and department policy will apply to all selections.
📌 Terms & Conditions
- The appointment is seasonal/temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have previously worked on similar seasonal terms in the Irrigation Department.
- The contract period is limited to the canal closure term 2025–2026.
- Incomplete applications or documents submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.
- No travel or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided.
- The department reserves the right to reject any application without assigning reasons.
