Karachi Contractual Public Sector Roles – 12 Specialist Positions from Deputy Operations Officer to GIS Data Analyst


A Karachi-based Section 42 public-sector company is assembling a contract team to steer donor-funded work in rural infrastructure, social protection, climate action, and governance, and it is accepting online applications until 16 August 2025 for 12 specialist posts, ranging from a Deputy Operations Officer with 15 plus years of multi-donor project leadership to a GIS Data Analyst who brings a master’s in GIS or remote sensing and at least five years of hands-on spatial analysis within a decade-long career. The roster also features a credentialed Company Secretary, a Social Safeguard Officer versed in resettlement and land-acquisition frameworks, a WASH Engineer skilled in AutoCAD-based water-and-sanitation design, finance and disbursement leads with ACCA/CA/ICMA tracks, M&E and contract-management specialists familiar with World Bank compliance, and dedicated roles for grievance redress, climate adaptation, and community project coordination.

3Social Safeguard Officer• Master’s in Sociology, Social Sciences or Development Studies• 5+ years in community mobilization, resettlement & land acquisition• Familiarity with social safeguard policies (WB, ADB, IsDB)
4GRM Officer• Bachelor’s in Public Administration, Social Sciences or related• 2–3 years handling grievances & stakeholder complaints in donor-funded or development projects
5Contract Management Officer• Bachelor’s in Procurement, Business Law or Contract Management• PGD/Master’s advantageous• 4+ years drafting & negotiating contracts• Experience with donor compliance (World Bank/UN)
6WASH Engineer• B.E. Civil Engineering; M.E. Environmental Engineering• 7–10 years in WASH or community infrastructure projects• Skilled in AutoCAD; GIS & MS Project knowledge preferred
7Monitoring & Evaluation Officer• Master’s in M&E, Statistics, Public Policy or Economics• 3+ years designing & implementing M&E frameworks for international/national programs
8Assistant Manager Finance• ACA/ACCA/ACMA Part-II; MBA (Finance) or M.Com• 6+ years in financial control, budgeting & reporting (public or chartered firm)
9Assistant Manager Disbursement• CA/ACCA/ICMA; M.Com or MBA (Finance/IT)• 5+ years in fund disbursement, donor reporting & internal controls
10Climate Support Officer• Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Sustainability or Climate Change• 5+ years in climate adaptation, sustainability or environmental management roles
11Project Officer• Master’s in Social Sciences or Development Studies• 5+ years coordinating community projects with national/international NGOs• Proficient in MS Word & Excel; strong English communication• Experience with disability inclusion is a plus
12GIS Data Analyst• Master’s or equivalent in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography or Computer Science• 10+ years total experience, including 5+ years in GIS mapping, spatial analysis & data visualization
