The Khyber Medical College (KMC) in Peshawar, operating under the Medical Teaching Institutions (MTI) Act, is now accepting applications for several key academic positions. Positions are available for Chairpersons, Professors, and Assistant Professors across various clinical and basic science departments. 📋 Available Faculty Positions

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Chairperson

• Must be a senior faculty member (minimum Assistant Professor) with no disciplinary proceedings.
• Evaluated based on teaching portfolio, research output, and administrative skills.
• Appointment will follow MTI and KMC/KTH/KCD policy regulations.
• Clinical Chairpersons must participate in Institution-Based Practice (IBP) and refrain from private practice outside the hospital premises.

⚠️ This is an honorary leadership designation meant to provide institutional direction, not additional monetary benefits.

Professor

• Appointment and eligibility will follow:
  • MTI Act 2015 (as amended)
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa policy board regulations
• Valid PMDC registration required.

Assistant Professor

• Must fulfill criteria under:
  • PM&DC 2018 rules and MTI Act guidelines.
• Preference will be given to:
  • Those with surgical oncology experience (for Thoracic/Vascular Surgery roles).
  • Those with orthopaedic oncology specialization.
