KPPSC (Ad 6/2025) is accepting online applications for Provincial Planning Service Officers (BPS-17) in the Planning & Development Department, offering 13 posts to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa–domiciled candidates with at least second-division, 16-year degrees in relevant fields (economics/development studies; statistics, business/commerce/management; CS/IT; environmental/disaster management; agriculture; urban & regional/public-health engineering; or civil/electrical/mechanical/transport/mining/industrial engineering). Applicants must be 21–30 years on 01-01-2025 (relaxations per rules) and will be selected through a competitive exam (syllabus on KPPSC site; attempt limits three per post and four for combined competitive).

• Selection will be made through a Competitive Examination conducted by KPPSC.

• Each candidate is allowed:
  • Three chances per post
  • Four chances in combined competitive exams
• No grace marks will be given.

Age Relaxation Rules ⚖️

• Disabled candidates / Government employees / Widows / Divorced Women: Up to 10 years relaxation.
• Backward Areas: Up to 3 years relaxation.
• Minorities: Up to 5 years relaxation.
• Employees/ex-employees of KPK Govt. development projects: Relaxation equal to project service (max 10 years).

Note: Age relaxation will not be given in combination; only one rule applies where relevant.
