Job Announcement: Ministry of Defence – Green-AI Project Management Unit

The Ministry of Defence is seeking qualified Pakistani nationals to apply for contract-based roles under its prestigious Green-AI Project Management Unit. This one-year initiative focuses on developing advanced ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Precision Agriculture Systems using cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and aerospace technologies. Available Positions:

1. Scientific Officer (PPS-8)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Pay Scale: PPS-8
• Qualification: MS/BE in fields such as Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Embedded Systems, or High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in system design and development, particularly in GPSAR (Global Positioning Synthetic Aperture Radar). The selected candidate will support the Project Manager in the design, development, and management of key system components.

2. UAS Operator (PPS-6)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Pay Scale: PPS-6
• Qualification: Trained UAS pilots with at least one year of experience in flying and managing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
• Experience: Candidates should have expertise in flying UAS, with knowledge of GP-SAR, system integration, and overall control. The role involves independent management of flight simulations and UAV operations, ensuring successful testing and execution.
