The Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for multiple positions under the PSDP-funded project titled “Establishment of Federal SDGs Support Unit.” These positions are integral to advancing Pakistan’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through focused efforts in Social Development, Environmental Sustainability, Data Management, Economic Growth, and Communication.

These contract-based roles are based in Islamabad and provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to national development initiatives. We are looking for passionate professionals for the following positions:

Social Sector Specialist | Advanced degree in Social Sciences; 5+ years of relevant experience. | Design strategies for poverty reduction, health, education, and gender equality, fostering social welfare. |
Environmental Sector Specialist | Degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field; 5+ years in project management. | Develop initiatives for environmental sustainability, address climate change, and promote efficient resource management. |
Economic Sector Specialist | Advanced degree in Economics; proven expertise in economic policy analysis. | Analyze economic trends to propose reforms for growth, job creation, and poverty alleviation. |
Data/Statistics Expert | Bachelor’s/Master’s in Statistics or Data Science; experience with statistical tools. | Use data analytics to monitor SDG progress and support evidence-based policy-making. |
IT/Dashboard Expert | Degree in IT/Computer Science; expertise in data visualization tools. | Develop real-time dashboards for monitoring SDGs, creating interactive and advanced visualizations. |
Communication Expert | Degree in Communication or Media Studies; 3+ years of experience. | Formulate and implement strategies to enhance public awareness of SDG projects and achievements. |
Research Analyst | Bachelor’s in Social Sciences; experience in research. | Conduct in-depth studies on regional and national challenges related to the SDGs. |
Admin & Finance Officer | Degree in Finance or Management; 3+ years of relevant experience. | Manage financial resources and administrative functions to ensure project efficiency and compliance. |
Office Assistant | Intermediate; office management experience preferred. | Provide essential administrative support and documentation to ensure seamless project operations. |
