Job Announcement: Contract-Based Positions at Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Lahore

The Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office in Lahore is inviting applications from retired Supervisory staff of the Mechanical Carriage & Wagon Department for contract-based appointments. These positions are initially for a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension based on the needs of Pakistan Railways. Retired individuals who have reached the age of superannuation (60 years) and meet the required physical fitness standards are eligible to apply.

Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment:

Only retired candidates with relevant experience in the listed categories will be considered for these contract-based roles.
Salaries will be provided according to the BPS-06, BPS-09, BPS-12, and BPS-14 pay scales, based on the candidate’s last drawn salary, along with applicable allowances.
Appointees will not be entitled to pension or gratuity benefits.
The initial contract duration is one year, extendable if required by the organization.
The Pakistan Railways reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies or reject any application without providing a reason.
Selected candidates must pass a medical examination at the Pakistan Railways Hospital.
No TA/DA will be provided for interviews or medical examinations.
Appointees may be posted anywhere within the Pakistan Railways system, as required.
