Strategic Policy & Research Positions at National Security Division (SPPC) – Islamabad


The Strategic Policy Planning Cell (SPPC) in Islamabad has launched a three-year recruitment drive seeking visionary thinkers to shape Pakistan’s security discourse from within the National Security Division. Openings range from Chairman SPPC and Legal Advisor (National Security) to teams of Senior Policy Specialists, Policy Experts and Research Specialists addressing both traditional threats—defence and regional stability—and non-traditional challenges such as economics, climate and cyber. Successful candidates must hold a PhD or MPhil in a relevant discipline and demonstrate a proven record of research or government service: 8–12 years for MP-I roles (maximum age 50 years), 5–8 years for MP-II positions (max 45 years) and 3–5 years for MP-III posts (max 40 years).
