 Join Pakistan Air Force as a Commissioned Officer in Medical Branch – 135 Combat Support Course July 2025

Pakistan Air Force will open a six-day registration window—2 to 7 July 2025—for medical professionals who want to earn the stripe of Flight Lieutenant under the 135 Combat Support Course. Three streams are on offer: the Specialist cadre for doctors up to 54 years old who already hold an FCPS, FRCS, MRCP, or U.S. board certification in Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, or Anaesthesiology; the General Duty Medical Officer track for MBBS graduates (25-33 years) with a PMDC house-job; and a parallel Dental Officer route for BDS holders. Short-listed applicants will clear a subject test, on-site medical, and a brisk fitness circuit—one-mile run in eight minutes, ten push-ups and sit-ups, two chin-ups—before a final board interview and comprehensive exam at CMB Lahore. A NADRA Smart Card is mandatory at sign-up, and all paperwork flows through joinpaf.gov.pk. Successful candidates will spend 24 weeks at PAF training facilities before stepping into state-of-the-art hospitals that pair clinical practice with the prestige and benefits of Pakistan’s air arm.

📋 Open Categories & Eligibility

🔹 1. Medical Branch – Specialist (SPSSC)

• Gender/Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
• Age: 25–54 years (as of 15 October 2025)
• Rank: Flight Lieutenant
• Training Period: 24 weeks
• Qualification:
  • MBBS (minimum 2nd Division)
  • FCPS / FRCS / MRCP / Diplomat American Board in one of the following:
    • Medicine
    • ENT
    • Eye
    • Psychiatry
    • Anesthesiology
• ❗ Note: FCPS-I or MCPS holders are not eligible

🔹 2. Medical Branch – General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) – SPSSC

• Age: 25–33 years
• Qualification:
  • MBBS (minimum 2nd Division)
  • 1-year house job from a PMDC-recognized hospital
  • Preference for candidates with post-house job experience

🔹 3. Medical Branch – General Duty Dental Officers (GDDOs) – SPSSC

• Age: 25–33 years
• Qualification:
  • BDS (minimum 2nd Division)
  • 1-year house job from a PMDC-recognized hospital
  • Preference for candidates with field experience

2. Initial Academic Test in relevant medical subjects
3. Initial Medical Exam & Interview at PAF Selection Centre
4. Physical Fitness Test (for shortlisted candidates):
   • Running (1 Mile): ⏱ 08 Minutes
   • Push-Ups: 10 reps in 02 Minutes
   • Sit-Ups: 10 reps in 02 Minutes
   • Chin-Ups: 02 reps in 02 Minutes
5. Psychological Evaluation
6. Interview by AHQ Selection Board
7. Final Medical Assessment at CMB, Lahore
8. Final Selection & Issuance of Offer Letters
