The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) invites applications for multiple positions across various departments under the Government of Punjab. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for the following vacancies:

1. Transport Officer (BS-16) – Directorate of Civil Defence

• Qualification/Experience:
  • Matric with a 3-year Automobile Engineering Diploma from a recognized Government Polytechnic Institute, along with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, Ex-Subedar qualified from the Army School in M.T. or EME with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Age Limit:
  • 20-30 years (+8 years age relaxation for males)
  • 20-38 years (+8 years age relaxation for females)
• Gender: Open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates.
• Domicile: Punjab (All districts).
• Posting Location: Lahore.
• Syllabus for Written Test:
  • 80% questions related to Automobile Engineering.
  • 20% questions related to General Knowledge.

2. Assistant Electric Inspector (BS-17) – Chief Engineer (Power), Energy Department

• Qualification/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Must be registered as an Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Age Limit:
  • 21-30 years (+5 years age relaxation).
• Gender: Open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates.
• Domicile: Punjab (All districts).
• Posting Location: Various locations in Punjab.
• Syllabus for Written Test:
  • 80% questions related to Electrical Engineering.
  • 20% questions related to General Knowledge.

3. Sub Engineer (Civil) (BS-14) – Punjab Irrigation Department

• Qualification/Experience:
  • 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit:
  • 18-25 years (+8 years age relaxation for males)
  • 18-33 years (+8 years age relaxation for females)
• Gender: Open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates.
• Domicile: Based on various zones in Punjab.
• Syllabus for Written Test:
  • 80% questions related to Civil Engineering.
  • 20% questions related to General Knowledge.

4. Sub Engineer (Mechanical) (BS-14) – Punjab Irrigation Department

• Qualification/Experience:
  • 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit:
  • 18-25 years (+8 years age relaxation for males)
  • 18-33 years (+8 years age relaxation for females)
• Gender: Open to Male, Female, and Transgender candidates.
• Domicile: Punjab (All districts).
• Syllabus for Written Test:
  • 80% questions related to Mechanical Engineering.
  • 20% questions related to General Knowledge.
