Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Jobs has released Advertisement No. 36/2025 inviting online applications for multiple roles across Punjab:
(1) Sub Inspector (BS-14) — Punjab Police, 300 posts (Open Merit by regions),
(2) Assistant Director Agriculture (OFWM) — BS-18, 50 posts (Water Management Wing), and
(3) Associate Professors — BS-19 (Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department).

Eligibility & physical standards ✅

• Education: Graduation (2nd Division or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
• Age: 20–25 years for male & female. No age relaxation.
• Height: Male: 5′7″ (170 cm); Female: 5′2″ (157 cm).
• Chest (males only): 33″–34½″ (minimum 1½″ expansion).
• Vision: 6/9 in each eye (with/without glasses); near vision ≥ J-1.
• Gender: Male & Female (transgender apply as per CNIC).
• Place of posting: Anywhere in Punjab.

Mandatory Medical Certificate (read carefully) 🩺

• Obtain the PPSC-prescribed certificate on or before the closing date from the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospitals / Service Hospital Lahore / Police Line Hospital Lahore.
• Enter the same physical measurements in your online form as printed on the certificate.
• Certificates issued after the closing date or from Tehsil/private/OPD will not be accepted.
• Any overwriting/tampering must be countersigned by the issuing MS by the closing date, otherwise the certificate is invalid.
• Only the PPSC format (available on PPSC website) is acceptable.

Written test & selection flow 🧭

• One-paper MCQs (100 marks / 90 minutes)
  • English — 40% (usage, synonyms/antonyms, sentence correction/completion, idioms, one-word substitution)
  • Basic Computer — 40% (MS Office, record keeping, email/internet basics)
  • General Knowledge — 20% (Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Math, Urdu, Everyday Science)
• Next stages: Psychological Assessment ➜ Viva Voce ➜ Medical/Character verification as per rules.
• No relaxation in age, education or physical standards.

Assistant Director Agriculture (OFWM) — BS-18 (50 Posts) 🚜💧

Department: Water Management Wing, Agriculture Department (Contract 3 years, extendable to 5)

Qualification (any one) + experience:

• B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, or
• B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering, or
• B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (2nd Division)
  Plus: 5 years practical/administrative experience in Water Management. (Private-sector experience acceptable if the entity is registered with SECP/Registrar of Firms or other competent authority.)

Age: 26–35 years (with up to 8 years general relaxation as per rules)
Gender: Male/Female/Transgender — Domicile: Punjab
Posting: Anywhere in Punjab
Written Test: 100 MCQs / 90 minutes → 80% subject-related, 20% General Ability (GK, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Math, English, Urdu, Everyday Science & Basic Computer)

Department: Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education (Regular basis)

Posting: Medical universities/colleges/teaching hospitals across Punjab.
Documentation: PMC registration, research papers (principal authorship), experience certificates, equivalence if any.
