Strategic Consultant Positions – School Education Department Punjab (GRADES Project)
School Education Department (SED), Punjab Government, in collaboration with the World Bank, is implementing the “Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services (GRADES)” project, under Project ID: P176594. The project is a milestone program to reinforce education systems through more student engagement at the pre-primary to primary levels and better reading results in public schools in Punjab.
To aid in this endeavor, SED issues an expression of interest call for seasoned professionals to occupy individual consultant roles. The positions are project-based and directly associated with the strategic goals of the project. Positions are currently available for Head of Operations, Head of Finance, Head of Procurement, and Head of Construction roles.
These roles give a unique opportunity to professionals to directly contribute towards improving education delivery and infrastructure in Punjab through evidence-based planning, good financial management, transparent procurement, and civil works implementation.

| Head of Procurement | 01 | Master’s/Bachelor’s in Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Admin (HEC recognized) | 10+ years, including 3 years in donor-funded procurement roles. Experience with World Bank Procurement Framework is essential. |
| Head of Construction | 01 | B.Sc in Civil Engineering or Architecture (HEC recognized) | 10+ years in civil works; 3 years in foreign-aided projects. Experience in green building, passive design, and World Bank/GoPb standards is desirable. |
🏢 About the GRADES Project – School Education Department (SED), Punjab
The Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services (GRADES) initiative is a major reform project led by the Punjab government with technical and financial assistance from the World Bank. Its objective is to:
- Improve enrollment and retention in early-grade education
- Enhance student literacy outcomes
- Reform school governance and accountability systems
The program operates province-wide and requires high-performing professionals who understand the dynamics of development projects and education-sector delivery in public systems.
