Sanitary Patrol Field Sanitation Workers (Male & Female) β District Health Authority Rawalpindi
The District Health Authority Rawalpindi, under the supervision of the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department, Government of Punjab, is hiring male and female field workers for temporary engagement in the Dengue Vector Surveillance & Control Program. This is a contingent paid recruitment drive designed to strengthen on-ground sanitation efforts and disease prevention strategies during the high-risk dengue season.
A total of 900 positions are available for residents of Rawalpindi district only. Selected candidates will serve as Sanitary Patrol Workers, actively participating in field monitoring, household surveillance, and public awareness campaigns throughout urban and rural union councils.

Appointments will be made based on the applicantβs place of residence and local Union Council (UC) availability in the following tehsils:
- Rawalpindi City & Rawalpindi Rural
- Gujar Khan
- Taxila
- Murree
- Kallar Syedan
- Kahuta
- Kotli Sattian
Each selected candidate will work within their home tehsil to support vector surveillance and sanitation duties at the community level.
π§Ύ Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door larval checks and inspection visits
- Eliminate breeding sources in stagnant water bodies
- Educate households on dengue prevention practices
- Document field data via assigned Android apps
- Cooperate with local dengue response teams and UC coordinators
- Submit daily activity reports through PITB dashboard
β Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a permanent resident of Rawalpindi district
- Only those not previously employed in anti-dengue campaigns are eligible
- Candidates must be physically fit and willing to work in varying weather conditions
- Basic smartphone literacy is desirable for field data collection
- Female applicants are encouraged to apply for female-focused outreach areas
- Selection will strictly follow merit and UC-wise quotas
