General Manager Planning & Construction; Contract Management Specialist; Assistant Surveillance Supervisor
TransPeshawar (The Urban Mobility Company) is expanding its team in Peshawar with three critical appointments: General Manager Planning & Construction, Contract Management Specialist and Assistant Surveillance Supervisor. These positions are offered on an initial one-year contract (with the possibility of extension) and support the city’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Mobility Authority. Ideal applicants will combine strong technical know-how with practical project delivery experience. All roles are based in Peshawar; candidates must hold Pakistani nationality, a valid CNIC, and domicile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Women and members of under-represented groups are encouraged to apply.

Role Details & Responsibilities
General Manager Planning & Construction
- Oversee civil and transport engineering teams to meet BRT design standards
- Monitor construction milestones, quality checks and safety protocols
- Liaise with contractors, government agencies and design consultants
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and change-order requests
Contract Management Specialist
- Draft, negotiate and finalize service and supply contracts
- Track contract deliverables, payments and compliance with legal requirements
- Maintain contract register and update senior management on key risks
- Coordinate with finance, legal and procurement units for smooth execution
Assistant Surveillance Supervisor
- Monitor daily BRT operations via CCTV systems and incident-report logs
- Record and escalate safety or contractual violations in real time
- Assist in preparing shift-wise surveillance reports and performance summaries
- Support control-room staff training and system maintenance checks
