The University of Sargodha is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join its team for an HEC-funded research project, titled “Tracing the XDR Typhoid by Next Generation Genomics and Proteomics Approaches in Pakistan” (HEC-NRPU-2021-166480, Rs. 12.72 Million). Position	Qualifications/Experience	No. of Seats
Research Assistant	MS/MPhil in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences with experience in DNA/RNA handling and real-time PCR.	2
PhD Student	Enrolled or prospective PhD candidate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences. Preference for experience in infectious diseases.	1
MPhil Student	Registered MPhil student in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biological Sciences.	2
Short-Term Project Worker	Skilled in collecting blood, stool, or biopsy samples and eager to learn laboratory processing techniques.	2

Eligibility Criteria

✅ Research Assistant:

Advanced degree (MS/MPhil) with expertise in molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA handling and real-time PCR.

✅ PhD Student:

Enrolled or planning to enroll in a PhD program. Candidates with experience in infectious disease research will be given priority.

✅ MPhil Student:

Registered MPhil students in relevant fields with a keen interest in research.

✅ Short-Term Project Worker:

Practical knowledge of sample collection (blood, stool, biopsy) and enthusiasm to develop laboratory skills.
