Controller General of Accounts) Opportunities – RFP-49/2025 | Individual Consultants Required for FABS Competency Centres
The Directorate General MIS, operating under the Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Islamabad, invites sealed technical and financial proposals from highly qualified individual professionals for multiple consultancy roles as outlined in RFP-49/MIS/FABS/Proc/New Consultants/2025. These roles are part of a national initiative to strengthen the operational capacity of the Federal Accounting & Budgeting System (FABS) through the creation of specialized FABS Competency Centres.
This request targets 28 individual consultancy positions in highly sought-after domains such as SAP (Fi, HR, ABAP, BASIS), Network Security, Financial Reporting, API & Web Development, and Public Procurement. Contracts will range between 1 to 3 years depending on the complexity and scope of the role. 🏛️ About the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) & FABS
The Controller General of Accounts (CGA) is Pakistan’s primary federal financial authority, mandated to maintain, monitor, and report on government finances. Within its structure, the Directorate General MIS oversees FABS (Federal Accounting & Budgeting System) — the national financial information management system powered by SAP technology.
The creation of FABS Competency Centres represents a strategic transformation to decentralize specialized skills, automate reporting, ensure real-time transparency, and modernize core financial processes across ministries and federal departments. Through the FABS consultancy services Pakistan 2025 initiative, CGA aims to hire cutting-edge consultants to implement global best practices in public financial management.
