The Health Department, Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat, is inviting eligible medical professionals to participate in walk-in interviews for contract-based positions under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) structure. These appointments are part of targeted healthcare initiatives designed to strengthen service delivery across hospitals in underserved districts.

This hiring drive is focused on short-term appointments (one year) for doctors willing to serve in regional hospitals and rural medical units. Candidates meeting the criteria must appear for interviews with complete documentation.

✅ Who Can Apply?

For Gynaecologist (PPS-12)

• MBBS from a PMDC-recognized medical college

• Postgraduate specialization: Level II or III in Gynecology & Obstetrics

• Clinical Practice:

  • Minimum 3 years (Level II)

  • Minimum 2 years (Level III)

• Must hold valid PMDC registration

For Medical Officer / Lady Medical Officer

• MBBS from a recognized university

• Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC)

• Gilgit-Baltistan domicile is mandatory

💼 Contract Duration & Monthly Pay

• 💵 Gynaecologist (PPS-12): Rs. 500,000/month (fixed)
• 💵 Medical Officers (MOs/LMOs): Rs. 150,000/month (fixed)
• ❗ Appointments are strictly non-transferable
