FBR Jobs 2024 – Pakistan Raises Revenue Program (PRRP) Project

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), under the Revenue Division of the Government of Pakistan, is currently seeking individual consultants for its Pakistan Raises Revenue Program (PRRP), a project funded by the World Bank. Position 1: Procurement Specialist-II

This role is ideal for a procurement expert with strong knowledge of World Bank procurement practices and tools, as well as experience managing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the procurement process, including the procurement of goods, works, and consulting services.
• Ensure compliance with World Bank procurement policies and use tools like STEP (Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement).
• Provide oversight on public procurement systems and ensure transparency and accountability in all processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Position 2: Assistant Finance Manager (Intermittent Basis)

For finance professionals, this role focuses on financial management, administration, and grant management for complex frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a deep understanding of financial systems in both public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial administration and grant management, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance financial frameworks.
• Analyze financial data and contribute to the development of policies and processes that align with project objectives.
