Government College Women University, Faisalabad (GCWUF) invites applications from qualified and committed professionals for Visiting Faculty appointments in multiple departments. The university seeks Assistant Professors and Lecturers for the following disciplines: Arabic; Commerce (Islamic Banking & Finance; Accounting & Finance); Computer Science; Education; Fashion Design (Textile & Clothing with BS Fashion Design); Forensic Science; Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Networks, Software Engineering); Media & Communication Studies; Medical Laboratory Technology (BS MLT compulsory); Political Science & International Relations.

✅ General HEC Rules: No third division in the academic career for Lecturers; if a third division exists at an earlier stage, higher degree performance thresholds apply per HEC policy. Professional council registrations (where applicable) must follow national rules. Equivalence from HEC is required for foreign degrees.
How to Apply: Process
Step 1 — Prepare Application 📑
- Download the prescribed form from www.gcwuf.edu.pk or collect it from the Academic Branch during working hours.
- Fill the form carefully; information provided will be treated as final at scrutiny.
- Arrange three (03) complete sets for each discipline/cadre you are applying to, containing:
- Updated CV with complete publications (if any) and teaching portfolio.
- Attested copies of degrees/transcripts (with HEC equivalence for foreign qualifications).
- CNIC, domicile, and experience certificates (clearly dated, on official letterhead).
- Three recent passport-size photographs.
Step 3 — Submit Before Deadline 📅
- Last date/time: 09 October 2025 (by 02:00 PM).
- Submit the complete dossier to the Registrar (Academic Branch), GCWUF, Faisalabad.
- Clearly mention the discipline and cadre on the envelope (e.g., “Visiting Lecturer — Computer Networks”).
Step 4 — Shortlisting & Interview 🧭
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/teaching demo via website announcement, email, or SMS.
- Bring original documents for verification at the time of interview.
Step 5 — In-Service Applicants 📨
- Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and provide NOC at interview.

What You’ll Do (role highlights)
Visiting Assistant Professor
- Deliver advanced-level courses, supervise research/Capstone projects, and mentor junior faculty where assigned.
- Update course outlines to meet OBA/OBE and HEC standards; ensure constructive alignment of CLOs with assessments.
- Guide students in academic writing, research methods, and ethical scholarship.
- Contribute to curriculum review, board of studies documentation, and quality audits.
Visiting Lecturer
- Teach undergraduate courses, conduct labs/studio sessions, and manage assessments with timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate records in line with departmental SOPs; support academic advising and remedial sessions.
- Assist in events, exhibitions (Fashion/Design), industry linkages, or media labs as relevant to the discipline.
- Uphold classroom management, inclusivity, and student well-being.
