Faculty Openings for Lecturer (BS-18) – University of Okara

The University of Okara, a public sector institution chartered by the Government of Punjab, is inviting applications from qualified individuals for Lecturer (BS-18) positions across a wide spectrum of academic departments. Applicants must hold at least an MS or M.Phil degree with First Division from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Preference will be given to individuals with a clean academic record and demonstrated ability to contribute to both teaching and research.

Eligibility Requirements

✅ Applicants must hold MS or M.Phil (First Division) from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized university.
📌 Those with more than one third division in their academic history are not eligible.
📌 Applicants with a Ph.D. degree may still apply, provided they meet the minimum requirements and have not exceeded the limit on third divisions.

1. Visit www.uo.edu.pk to download the application form.
2. Submit the completed form along with an original bank draft or deposit slip.
3. The fee is Rs. 1,000 per application (Bank draft in favor of Treasurer, University of Okara – NTN No. 9021534-6).
4. Clearly specify the discipline you’re applying for. Separate applications are required for each subject.
5. Ensure your application reaches the Registrar’s Office by or before 30 June 2025.

📬 Hard copies of the application must be sent via registered courier. Incomplete submissions or those without the prescribed documents will not be considered.
