🎓 Qualification & Experience

• ✅ Professional Certification: CA, CMA, ACCA, or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Must be a member of a recognized professional body such as ICAP, ICMAP, ACCA, or IIA
• 📅 Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in:
    • Internal auditing
    • Risk management
    • Compliance or financial control (preferably in donor-funded or multi-sectoral projects)
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience as Head of Internal Audit in Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) or similar regulatory settings

🧭 Key Responsibilities

• 🗂️ Develop and lead execution of the annual internal audit plan using a risk-based methodology.
• 🧮 Evaluate the organization’s internal controls, regulatory compliance, and governance structures.
• 📝 Present findings to the Board Audit Committee (BAC) and senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
• 🔄 Ensure alignment of audit activities with donor requirements, organizational policies, and financial regulations.
• 👥 Supervise, mentor, and guide the internal audit team to maintain operational excellence.
