📋 Job Overview

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• 🎓 Educational Qualification:
  • LLB (minimum) from an HEC-recognized university
  • Preference will be given to candidates with additional legal certifications or LLM
• 🧠 Experience Requirement:
  • At least 15 years of post-qualification legal experience
  • Minimum 10 years in the banking/financial sector, handling litigation, corporate law, or compliance
• 📋 Skillset & Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of banking laws, SECP/SBP regulations, corporate governance, and contract law
  • Proven leadership in handling high-profile litigation, internal legal advisory, and institutional risk assessments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting abilities

⚖️ Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Legal Division and advise on legal risks, compliance matters, and institutional policies
• Oversee the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, MoUs, and regulatory submissions
• Coordinate with external legal counsels and manage all bank-related litigation nationwide
• Ensure compliance with the laws of Pakistan, SECP regulations, SBP directives, and court rulings
• Provide legal counsel to the Board of Directors, President/CEO, and executive management on sensitive legal matters
• Supervise the Legal Liaison Units (LLUs) and field-level legal support services
• Support internal investigations, HR legal matters, and contract dispute resolutions
