Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11) Positions at Pakistan Railways

Pakistan Railways, headquartered in Lahore, is currently inviting applications from retired supervisory staff of the Signal Department for a one-year contract appointment. This opportunity is exclusively for individuals who retired upon reaching the age of 60 and meet the necessary physical fitness requirements.

• Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11)
• Vacancies: 15
• Eligibility: Retired Sub Engineer/Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-16)
• Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 62 years

Terms and Conditions for Contract Appointment

• Only candidates who have previously worked in the specified category are eligible for contract appointment.
• Selected candidates will receive a salary based on their last drawn pay, along with usual allowances under the contract appointment rules. However, they will not be entitled to gratuity and pension benefits.
• The contract period is one year, extendable for an additional year if required by Pakistan Railways.
• The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
• The number of posts may change without prior notice.
• Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted by Pakistan Railways Hospital.
• Individuals who were compulsorily retired, removed, dismissed, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible for appointment.
• Only eligible candidates will receive call letters for contract appointments.
• No TA/DA will be provided for interviews and medical examinations.
• Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within the Railway System.

• Attested copies of all educational certificates
• National Identity Card (Computerized)
• Railway retired Identity Card/Experience Certificate
• Photocopy of PPO
• Photocopy of LPC
• Service Certificate
• Three (03) recent passport size photographs
• Three (03) postal envelopes with RAD card and complete address, including cell number
• Experience certificate from a renowned organization

Submission of Application

Typed applications, along with a complete biodata, should be submitted to the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Lahore. The deadline for submission is August 8, 2024.
